has come to reward the creative and dramatic work that graces the
pages of newspapers and magazines that use photographs as the source
material. This category is for digitally created images. (Newspaper

"This is incredible. It's nice to be recognized. That picture
was part of a big series on domestic violence. I had spent time
with police but there was no one image. I came up with this idea
and did the makeup for it and shot it, and the paper loved it. It
ran in the advertisements on each page and day the domestic violence
piece ran. It turned out very well."
