Like some other traditional papers, the Morning News poured its retrospective energies into a special section. The front page doesn't telegraph the importance of this particular day in any showy way. Still, the anniversary of the terrorist attacks does dominate the page, and the New Yorker in the lead photo appears to point to a separate miniature of the special section cover. It's a subtle approach, and one in keeping with the paper's mission. |
