| Renée
holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of
Alabama where she worked as a research assistant for Dr. Ed
Mullins and studied with photojournalist and former Poynter
participant, Dr. Kimberly Bissell. She received her Bachelor's
degree in Creative Writing from the University of South Alabama
where she studied with Jim White. Renee held a position on the
editorial board of USA's student newspaper, The Vanguard,
for four years and has worked as a freelance photographer and
writer for Gulf Coast Outdoors magazine and Dateline
Alabama, the University of Alabama's online news site. She
was also an assistant editor for the archaeologists at Pan-American
Consultants, Inc., in Tuscaloosa. |
