Kaitlin
graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in May with degrees
in Journalism and Sociology/Anthropology. Kaitlin spent two
summers interning with National Geographic and served
as managing editor of The Transcript, Ohio Wesleyan’s
student newspaper, in 2000. Most recently, Kaitlin covered
Ohio House and Senate meetings for Gongwer News Service. Eventually,
Kaitlin wants to combine her passion for journalism with her
loves for travel and people by working as a foreign correspondent
in Africa. In the meantime, she is exploring St. Petersburg,
meeting new people and preparing for a life in journalism.
Kaitlin is also an avid athlete. Her college soccer team captured
the 2001 Division III national championship and Kaitlin completed
her first marathon in May.
