Caroline
Prado graduated from California State Polytechnic Pomona,
where she majored in communication and minored in marketing
management. Before arriving at St. Pete, Caroline completed
her final issue of the campus newspaper, The Poly Post,
where she served as editor in chief and grew many white hairs
while simultaneously uncovering her love for journalism. Caroline
is a member of the AAJA and SPJ California Chapters and a
newcomer to Florida. She said that although she’s used to
the sun’s wicked heat in the west, there’s no comparison to
Florida’s exhausting humidity. But she is ready to take on
the summer’s challenges and the many things she will learn
from journalism’s best at The Poynter Institute.
