Illustrate St. Petersburg
By Laura El-Tantawy

"Upon my arrival in St. Pete, I went for a walk on the Pier. I was amazed by the number of sailboats I saw because it added to my impression of the town. It is a place where people come to relax and forget about their worries. For this project I used a rectangular piece of Styrofoam for my base, kebab sticks for the boat structure, knitting thread for the water and boat textures and tissue paper for the sail."
