Color Palettes
By Laura El-Tantawy

"The idea behind the design of this magazine cover was to create something that would reflect the characteristic of its readers. In this case, UP magazine was aimed at a young, rich, and business oriented segment of the market. My choice of palette colors emphasizes younger readership and simplicity, yet it remains sophisticated and classy. The cropping and outline on the image were aimed at making the cover more eye catching and striking to the younger reader."
