Great blue heron

Wingspan: 70 inches.

Breeding habitat: Wetland/open water.

Diet: Mostly fish, with lesser quantities of aquatic invertebrates, small mammals and reptiles/amphibians.

Identifying marks: Long yellow bill, holds neck in “S” curve.
